Kenyans on Twitter have blasted the DP Ruto badly, reminding him of the Arror and Kimwarer dams scandal where the DP is one of the suspects, has not been resolved.
Netizens flooded Twitter under the hashtag #WhereIsMyDamMoney demanding answers from the second in command. Ruto was called out for speaking badly on the COVID-19 millionaires’ scandal, claiming he is so loud about the matter because he was allegedly sidelined and isolated by the government after he fell out with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
One concerned netizen posed a tough question stating that while the former finance CS Henry Rotich was arrested, the vocal Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen was among the first people to condemn his arrest, despite substantial evidence that Kenyan’s money was lost.
Here are more comments on the hashtag;
“Could it be that part of the 63Billion Shillings of the implementation of Arror and Kimwarer dam is what Ruto is using to buy and give as Wheelbarrow, tanks, etc donations? His acts are just pure political interests come 2022.”
“Now that @WilliamsRuto defended the thieves, am still asking #WhereIsMyDamMoney because by design, coincidence or outright thuggery, this was happening at the same time the towels, plates, spoons and households were supplied in Eldoret.
Politically motivated denials had characterized the investigations into the corrupt dealings around the Kerio Valley Project. Local politicians led by Ruto led a chorus of denials and sustained attacks on the @ODPP_KE Noordin Haji & @DCI_Kenya George Kinoti. #WhereIsMyDamMoney
Anyone who looted the Arror and Kimwarer dams funds should be jailed and pay for what he has caused #WhereIsMyDamMoney
If kimwarer and arror dams were projects were completed, the people around that area would have benefitted greatly, DP Ruto is an enemy of progress in Kenya #WhereIsMyDamMoney
